Mathur Aqueduct (Mathoor Thottipalam) is one of the tallest as well as longest aqueducts in Asia. It located about 3 kms away from Thiruvattar in Kanyakumari district of Tamil Nadu. You can reach here through Thiruvattar and Kalladimamoodu (near Kulasekharam) We have chosen the way of Kalladimamoodu. When we reached Kalladimamoodu there was an information board to direct us to reach Mathur. We started our journey through a narrow road. It was a parallel road to the channel. On the way we got another chance to see the rubber plantation just like Thirunanthikarai and Thiruvattar . In between we could find the different sizes and shapes of rocks at the side of the road. Just we were enjoying that, suddenly we anxious on seeing a big rock! It looks like that the rock is about to fall to the channel. We didn't leave; we took a snap of the rock. In the moment of tour on Kanyakumari District we went to Kanyakumari, Padmanabhapuram Palace, Mathoor Thottipalam, Thirparappu water falls and Pechipparai. On the way of Pechiparai we came to know about the village Thirunanthikarai (Thirunandikarai). So we planned to visit that village. Thirunanthikarai (Tamil: திருனந்திகரை, Malayalam: തിരുനന്തികര)  is small village which is located in between the town Kulasekharam and Pechipparai. When we entered, there a pond was ready to invite us with fresh and cool air with full of water andlotus and lily flowers. Many small fishes were swimming in the pond. There are different kinds of trees like rubbers, coconut, banana, mango, jackfruit, gua surrounded the pond and different types of birds are waiting on the trees to catch the fish. Really it was pleasant to see. To know more about this pond and village we met two grand fathers one Mr. Madhavan Pillai and Mr. Madhavan Nair.
